A trade estimator who works on masonry packages every week handles the file, confirms the fee and delivery date before opening the drawings, and lists every assumption and exclusion in writing. Turnaround is normally 24 to 48 hours, and when addenda change the masonry scope the revised quantities are issued without a second invoice.

Nothing in the masonry package is a lump-sum allowance, materials, labour hours, equipment and waste factors are separated so you can adjust markup line by line on bid day.
